Full job description

Production Co-ordinator

Are you looking for a rewarding role in one of Canada’s fastest growing food sectors? Do you want to be part of the solution . . . . promoting local agriculture, the organic food and beverage industry, with a firm focus on health and wellness?

Fieldstone Organics is looking to recruit a highly motivated and organized Production Co-ordinator to join the team at our organic granary, located 6kms north of Armstrong in the beautiful Spallumcheen valley.

This is a varied and exciting role, with the opportunity to develop and make your mark within this ever-growing organic food company.

Training available for the suitable candidate.

Role Includes:

Scheduling & overseeing all mill production, warehousing and packaging
Logistics co-ordination – incoming/outgoing including export
Ensuring inventory availability (product & supplies)
Ensuring the accuracy and implementation of SOP’s and GMP’s
Crop planning & sourcing, liaising with growers regarding crop production, seeding & harvest.
Implementing Organic Certification & HACCP procedures and facilitating inspections
Perform and report all quality control procedures.
Oversee health & safety, staff training and WCB compliance
Assist in the scheduling & implementation of repairs, maintenance and new developments.

Skills:

Excellent computer skills
Forklift certification and warehousing skills
HACCP / Food Safety / Organics - any experience would be an asset.
Health and Safety – any experience would be an asset
Any relevant training or experience in a food production facility

This role is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and weekend seasonal overtime.
