About the Opportunity
Stratus Clean Vancouver Island is searching for an ambitious salesperson to join team Stratus as an Inside Sales Representative-Cold Caller & Lead Generator for the regional office located in Langford BC, aiming to secure quality appointments for our outside sales team. With extensive training, strong corporate support, and lead-generation tools, you will develop the skills to handle with confidence. Your Key Responsibilities:
· Prospecting – Actively searching for potential customers and gathering their contact information by using Data Scrapers, Google tools or by in-person visits (door-to door) to build a pipeline of qualified leads.
· Lead Generation – Identifying and qualifying potential customers as part of the sales team.
· Cold Calling – Contacting prospects who have not previously interacted with the company.
· Appointment Setting and Closing New Accounts – Scheduling meetings for the sales team with qualified leads and attending/ following up to seal the deal.
· CRM Management – Entering and tracking prospect information in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Hubspot.
· Call Volume & Sales Metrics – Tracking daily calls, conversion rates, and appointments booked.
· Sales Pipeline Development – Building a consistent flow of leads for the Outside Sales team.
- Administrative support - Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings with prospective franchisees for the President. Maintain and update appointment calendars, CRM records, and internal tracking systems. Support franchisee onboarding and operational activities, including conducting monthly inspections with customers. Provide support for daily office management and administrative functions to ensure efficient business operations
· Meeting Corporate Sales Goals: Consistently achieve and exceed key sales metrics including activity volume, number of appointments booked, and lead conversion rates. Meet daily and weekly corporate targets to contribute towards monthly revenue goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2 years of experience in telemarketing, cold calling, or inside sales is required.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong business development skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients over the phone
- Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot or similar) is an asset.
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of web-based applications are required.
- Ability to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and drive measurable sales results
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lock in appointments efficiently
- Self-motivated, organized, and highly detail-oriented
Requirements:
- A minimum college diploma or degree is required.
- At least 1+ years of experience in cold calling is mandatory.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce or similar) is required.
- Proficiency and fluency in English are essential.
- Physical presence at the office is non-negotiable (this is an in-person role)
- Must be located within a commutable distance to Langford, British Columbia.
- Candidates must provide references from previous employers for verification purposes.
- The successful candidate must undergo a background check.

The successful candidate will be compensated with a base salary plus uncapped commissions and opportunities to gain North American corporate experience within a supportive international franchise system.
Compensation Range:
Starting at $45,760/year ($22/hour) plus uncapped commission. Commission earning potential ranges from 15% to 30% on new account starts generated from appointments you set. A typical full-time Stratus Inside Sales Associate across our other regions earns approximately $65,000 in their first year.
Pay: $22.00 per hour
