Location: 4215 Commerce Circle, Victoria, British Columbia. V8Z 6N6
Work hours: 04:00 AM onwards, with an opportunity to work extra hours.
Must have access to your own transportation as the buses don't run at this time.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Unload shipments from delivery trucks and containers, ensuring that all items are accounted for and undamaged.
- Sort and organize products for storage or distribution, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Operate pallet jacks to move large pallets and materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
- This is a fast pace shift and a very good cardio workout!
Qualifications
- No Criminal Record (for which a pardon has not been granted).
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with Greater Victoria is an asset for sorting inbound freight.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
- Must be 18 years or older
- No more than 3 demerit points in the last 24 months
- Must have a valid driving license & access to own transportation
