Overview
One our hygienists tried to undertake this job, but still enjoys chairside with the office so we are reposting and looking to add a great team member. We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team in a patient and family focused dental office environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental or medical office settings, possess strong administrative skills, and be proficient in managing front desk operations. This role is crucial for ensuring a smooth patient experience and maintaining efficient office workflows.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process.
Scheduling appointments and managing patient care timelines.
Handle multi-line phone systems to answer calls, address inquiries, and manage patient communications.
Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
Process patient information, including insurance verification and billing inquiries.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient office operations.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a dental or medical office is preferred.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry is a great asset.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while providing exceptional customer service.
Experience with front desk operations, including managing appointment schedules and handling patient inquiries.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
