Head Bartender or (Bar 2)
FUNCTION: To provide responsible Food and Beverage Supervision/Service as required in the Lounge and as designated in the Dining areas and Special Events in the Club. Reports to the Club Manager.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP: Works independently and assists the Club
Manager in bar operations. Directly supervises all tasks and services associated with the Bartender I position, and as designated the Waiter/Waitress I and II positions in the Lounge, Dining Areas and Special Events.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
1. Responsible for ordering and restocking beer, wine and liquor as needed.
2. Ensures and maintains the sanitary conditions, draft beer lines, glass washer, cooler, primarily all areas of the bar.
3. Compile and create wine and beverage lists in conjunction with the Manager.
4. Carry out month end liquor inventories.
5. Plan and execute beverage specials and special functions for the Club, such as wine and beer tastings, whiskey club and drink specials.
6. Responsible for overseeing and maintaining beverage costs.
7. Ensure all chits/orders are implemented and closed into the Jonas POS system.
Ensure the cash float balances, recorded and additional cash is secured or submitted to the office.
8. All other duties as listed for Bartender I and as assigned by the Manager.
9. Other duties as assigned.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must have minimum 5 years supervisory experience in Bar Operations / Service.
2. Must have good command of the English Language be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
3. Must have experience with cash, debit and credit card transactions.
4. Must have extensive knowledge with liquor pricing and beverage control.
5. Must have Serving it Right and Food Safe Certificate.
6. Should be able to plan and execute special events.
7. Ability to work well with others.

Pay: $25.69-$35.07 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
