Summary

We are seeking Food Service Associate’s (Meal Preparation & Customer Service/ Occasional Deliveries) as well as Experienced Kitchen Staff to join our team at Chef on the Run in Victoria.

Responsibilities for Part Time Food Service Associate/Driver

Assist in food preparation and handling to ensure quality standards are met.
Provide excellent customer service both in-store and during delivery.
Support the serving of meals and maintain cleanliness in food service areas.
Follow food safety protocols to ensure hygiene and safety.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
Knowledge of food safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent communication skills.
Previous experience with food handling and preparation preferred.

Responsibilities for Part Time Kitchen Staff/Cook

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using established recipes ensuring attention to detail
Collaborate with the management team.
Implement and maintain sanitation practices and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Respond to feedback from leadership team to make improvements to dishes to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

You must live in Victoria and able to work in Canada.
We do not have a LMIA program.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment,
Culinary degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
Available Weekends (Saturday & Sunday) Daytime shifts only (no nights)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members

Pay: $18.25-$28.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
