Job Overview
Cera Tapas is an elevated Korean tapas restaurant that brings the flavors and traditions of Korean cuisine into a refined, modern dining experience. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our service team. As a member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering attentive, polished service while sharing knowledge of Korean culinary culture with our guests. You will play an essential role in creating a welcoming, memorable dining experience that reflects our restaurant’s commitment to quality and hospitality.

This position is for seasonal, part-time or full time positions.

Responsibilities

Provide professional, attentive, and knowledgeable service at all times.
Guide guests through the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations and insights into Korean flavors and traditions.
Communicate effectively with both guests and team members to ensure smooth service.
Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and efficiency in the dining area.
Support daily operations, including opening and closing duties.
Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Clover POS.
Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while ensuring proper presentation.
Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Ability to remain composed and attentive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

Interest in or familiarity with Korean cuisine and culture (Korean language skills are preferred, flexible)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on hospitality.
Previous serving or customer-facing experience in a restaurant or similar setting of 1 year is preferred, but we are happy to train motivated individuals.
Professional appearance, reliability, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
