Job Description

We are currently looking for a Non-Ferrous Receiver Labourer to join our team in Victoriaville.

The person in this position will mainly be responsible for the receiving, sorting, and handling of non-ferrous metals. The work is primarily performed indoors, with some occasional outdoor tasks depending on operational needs.

This position is focused on manual work, material handling, and metal sorting in a dynamic industrial environment. We are looking for someone reliable, active, and comfortable with physical work.

What you will be responsible for :

Welcome customers and follow established procedures;
Unload, sort, and identify different types of non-ferrous metals;
Weigh and classify materials and enter information into the system;
Prepare incoming and outgoing material shipments;
Operate the forklift safely;
Keep the work area, equipment, and workplace clean and in good condition;
Perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance;
Wear the required PPE and perform other related duties.

Qualifications

You have experience in an industrial environment (asset);
You have experience operating a forklift or other equipment (asset);
You have knowledge of different types of metals (asset);
You are comfortable with manual and physical work;
You are comfortable working indoors and outdoors as needed;
You are responsible, punctual, resourceful, and safety-conscious;
You enjoy working as part of a team and collaborating with your colleagues.
