Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team. All work is in Wainwright Alberta and surrounding area. Only local candidates will be considered. Typically Monday-Friday with some Saturdays required depending on the job. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, supporting skilled trades, and ensuring the smooth progress of building activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Assist with the installation and removal of construction materials and equipment
Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and fastening
Support carpentry and concrete activities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to assist with project execution
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and basic power tools for construction tasks
Knowledge of construction processes and safety standards
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
Experience or familiarity with carpentry or concrete is a plus
Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
Willingness to learn new skills
