Full job description

Ritewall Limited is a drywall company specializing in institutional, commercial, and industrial (ICI) construction.

We are currently seeking experienced Framers and Drywall Board installers to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience and will possess strong skills in drywall installation, framing, and boarding.

You will be required to have a valid G driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle for transportation to various job sites.

Sites will be located within the GTA and surrounding areas, with some potential for remote and/or out of town work.

Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

Install steel stud framing and drywall board.
Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets to specific requirements.
install metal framing for walls, partitions, ceilings, and other structures.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and materials when required.
Ensure proper alignment, level, and plumb of drywall and framing elements.
Coordinate and collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure proper integration of systems.
Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fasten drywall panels and framing materials.
Repair and replace damaged drywall and framing as needed.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety regulations and protocols.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members.

Required Competencies and Attributes:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Framer, Drywall Boarding in the ICI industry.
Valid G driver's license and access to a vehicle for transportation to job sites.
Strong knowledge and skills in drywall installation, framing techniques, and boarding duties.
Installation of ACT ceilings
Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to the trade.
Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting, bending, and working at heights.
Understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to construction.
