Duties and Responsibilities:
The Wealth Operations team provides frontline support to our Wealth Management Partners and referring CPA firms. They are responsible for delivering high quality, reliable and consistent support while handling core business processes.
- Provide a broad range of client service and operational support to our affiliated referring CPA firms such as processing funds withdrawals, TFSA/RSP contributions, asset transfers in/out, operational and transfer inquiries, monitoring client onboardings, account maintenance activities and tax reporting.
- Interact with FSE partners by responding to/processing requests, with a high level of quality and detail in an effective and timely manner.
- Demonstrating agility to respond to changes in processes and priorities across internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Analyze service and productivity to assess efficiency levels within own function and implement continuous process / performance improvements where opportunities exist.
- Responsible for the first point of escalations with our internal partner and affiliated referring CPA firms.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, both within the Wealth Operations group as well as across TriCert as a whole.
- Updating and maintaining book of record in multiple software systems for continuity.
- Support training for staff and affiliated referring CPA firms including data entry into various online portals, walk-through of processing tasks and operational guidance for new employees.
- Use effective relationship skills when communicating with partners / colleagues and in dealing with difficult conversations.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Finance, or relevant area of study
- Canadian Securities Course is an asset
- Have broad-based business experience, supporting and collaborating in the wealth space and delivering services to external clients.
- 2+ years related work experience within Wealth Management operations support.
- Knowledge of Client Account Opening and Client Account activity
- Cash & Registered (contributions, de-reg, cash/security in kind)
- Knowledge of Client Account transfer process (in-kind and or in cash & security positions)
- Knowledge of Registered Plans (RRSP/RIF's)
- Knowledge of Year-end tax reporting
- Excellent time management, problem solving, communication (oral, written and interpersonal) skills;
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Effectively manage the expectations of a diverse and demanding client base.
- Exhibit outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Display a high level of ownership and accountability.
- Able to work in an evolving environment, adapting to change and comfortable working with ambiguity.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Proven relationship building skills, ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly self-motivated and directed, able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under time constraints.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
