In this role, you will take ownership of high-value, complex cases within the Prestige market, playing a key role in influencing outcomes and driving successful policy placements. You will build and strengthen strategic relationships with top-tier advisors and distribution partners, becoming a trusted point of contact while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across underwriting, pricing, risk, and compliance. This position offers the opportunity to deepen your technical expertise and enhance the client onboarding experience, contributing directly to advisor satisfaction, revenue generation, and overall business growth. You will leverage your problem-solving and decision-making skills to proactively identify challenges and implement effective solutions, while gaining exposure to sophisticated insurance strategies within the family market segment and making a meaningful impact through relationship-driven service excellence.

Work arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.
What you’ll do:
- Build and maintain strong Prestige advisor relationships through proactive, high-quality service.
- Provide informed guidance and anticipate advisor needs to prevent issues.
- Collaborate with advisors and internal teams to support case progression and resolve concerns.
- Manage end-to-end new business cases with ownership and sound decision-making.
- Review applications, assess requirements, and proactively obtain missing information.
- Coordinate underwriting and third-party requirements to minimize delays.
- Monitor case progress, follow up on outstanding items, and reduce cycle time.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, handling inquiries and complex situations professionally.
- Maintain operational excellence by balancing workload, meeting service standards, and using tracking tools.
- Identify process improvements, address bottlenecks, and support business growth targets.
What you’ll bring:
- 1-3+ years of experience in life insurance new business, underwriting support, or case management
- Strong understanding of life insurance products, underwriting processes, and financial documentation requirements.
- Require understanding of underwriting scenarios, financial risk or wealth planning strategies
- Exposure and willing to learn tax structuring and or estate planning concepts
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, additional languages preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and service quality.
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and client service orientation.
- Proficiency with new business processing systems, workflow tools, and CRM platforms.

Your base pay will be based on your skills, qualifications, experience and education. In addition to your salary, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive award tied to business performance, plus a wide range of competitive benefits.
