St. Joseph's Health Centre Guelph (100 Westmount Rd, Guelph, ON N1H 5H8) &
Wellington Terrace (474 Charles Allan Wy, Fergus, ON N1M 0A1)
Salary Range:
$62.66/hour
Effective Date & Hours:
August 19, 2026 – July 30, 2027. Tuesday & Thursday: 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm and alternate weekends 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (Saturday & Sunday)

JOB SUMMARY:
The main role of the PSW Instructor will be to deliver quality classroom instruction using the approved curriculum and supervise learners during the clinical placement. They will be responsible for the assessment of all module materials as well as the recording of attendance, marks and completion of report cards. They will need to demonstrate sensitivity to and an understanding of the diverse needs of both students and clients the students will be working with during clinical placements. They will oversee the attainment of diploma requirements when applicable for adult learners enrolled in this joint academic / certificate program.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clinical coordination and monitoring, including site visits to various community partners.
- Maintain and develop new relationships with various clinical site Community Partners
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, ASSETS:
- Registered Nurse in Ontario

OCT qualified with I/S qualifications in Health Care Services an asset

Experience instructing within a PSW program an asset

Ability to work in a flexible environment with adult learners

Experience with online or blended learning will be an asset
