Job Title: Hand Spray Finisher
Key Responsibilities: This role will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying finishes using spray equipment, ensuring quality control, maintaining equipment, and following safety regulations in a woodworking and manufacturing environment.

Schedule: Monday to Friday
Salary: $23.00 - 27.00 per hour, commensurate based on experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the onsite Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for but not limited to the following tasks:
- Using spray equipment to apply paint and other materials to finished products.
- Clean and preparation of surfaces using such processes as sanding, scraping and grinding.
- Monitor and identify flaws, such as blisters or streaks, and correct the cause.
- Sand surfaces between coats of paint or primer to remove flaws and enhance adhesion for subsequent coats.
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble sprayers and power equipment, using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning duties.
- Ensure all paint related waste is properly labeled, stored and disposed of.
- Maintain paint booth and associated equipment to ensure proper working condition
- Ensure adherence to safety rules, government regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Ensure the workplace is a safe and clean work environment.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- 3 years spray/finisher experience in a millwork or manufacturing environment.
- Previous industrial painting/coating experience required
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Positive attitude respectful and friendly communication, and a team player
- Proficient with paint system and booth maintenance procedures.
- Must be able to operate lifting devices for movement of parts.
- Strong organizational skills including effective prioritization.
- Salary negotiable based on experience.
