Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced 5-Ton and Courier Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering goods efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, warehouse operations, and heavy lifting, with a focus on timely and professional deliveries. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, communication, and reliability are paramount.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a 5-ton truck and courier vehicle for local deliveries.
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, maintaining high standards of customer service.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.
Assist with moving goods within warehouses or storage facilities as needed.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for compliance purposes.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for 5-ton vehicles.
Proven experience in commercial driving, courier services, or warehouse logistics.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods safely.
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
Warehouse experience, including the operation of forklifts, is a plus.
Excellent moving skills with attention to safety protocols during loading/unloading processes.
Reliable work ethic with a focus on punctuality and safety compliance.

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
