What You'll Do
As a Registered Pharmacy Technician, you will play a central role in ensuring the dispensary operates safely and efficiently by:
- Performing final technical checks within your scope of practice.
- Preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately.
- Supporting compliance packaging and blister pack programs.
- Managing inventory, purchasing, and narcotic documentation.
- Processing prescriptions and third-party billing through Kroll.
- Coordinating with pharmacists to deliver safe, timely patient care.
- Identifying opportunities to improve workflow and efficiency.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Is registered and in good standing with the BC College of Pharmacists.
- Has previous experience in a community pharmacy environment (strongly preferred).
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced dispensary.
- Takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communicates professionally and enjoys being part of a team.
- Is dependable, adaptable, and willing to jump in where needed.
- Wants to contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Experience with Kroll and compliance packaging is considered an asset.
Schedule
This position is primarily scheduled Sunday through Wednesday, with flexibility to provide additional coverage during vacations and other planned absences.
Typical shifts include:
- Weekends: Finish no later than 2:00 PM
- Weekdays: Finish no later than 6:00 PM
- Some shifts will begin as early as 6:30 AM
