Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality food preparation and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and a passion for creating delicious sandwiches that satisfy our customers' tastes. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, sanitation, and restaurant operations while contributing to a welcoming dining experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company recipes and customer specifications
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy hours
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
Handle cash transactions accurately and provide excellent customer service
Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation
Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Assist with maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environment preferred
Knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS, is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
Kitchen or food industry experience is desirable but not required
Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks effectively

Pay: $16.60-$18.00 per hour
