Pay: 50-55k

Our client in Winnipeg is seeking a Financial Administrative Assistant (Financial Services Coordinator) to join their team. This is a great entry-level opportunity within the financial services sector, supporting advisors in delivering an excellent client experience.

Position Overview

As a Financial Services Coordinator, you will support financial advisors and assist in daily administrative and client service operations. This role is highly interactive and requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to client inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
Prepare, update, and maintain weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports
Ensure CRM systems and client records are accurate and up to date
Assist in scheduling and coordinating client meetings, including documentation and follow-ups
Support processing of investment and insurance-related paperwork while ensuring compliance standards are met
Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning, and maintaining client marketing lists

Requirements & Attributes

Strong customer service experience required
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities independently
Experience in banking, credit unions, or insurance considered an asset
Post-secondary education (college/university) or equivalent experience preferred
Mutual fund license is an asset
