Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd. is looking for a highly motivated and knowledgeable Outside Parts Sales Representative to join the Winnipeg Parts Department. Reporting directly to the Parts Manager, the Outside Parts Sales Representative is responsible for developing ongoing, profitable relationships with customers while maintaining the professional image of Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd.
The Role:
- Travel to major fleets and small truck repair shops to sell aftermarket and Peterbilt parts
- Sell and promote Service and Body Shop Departments
- Obtain new leads for truck sales development
- Collaborate with the Credit Department to collect payables from customers and keep records and receipts
- Cultivate and maintain meaningful, positive relationships with customers
- Address customer complaints and feedback with respect to parts or service accounts and bring complaints and feedback to the attention of the Manager(s) involved
- Operate and maintain sales vehicle to Peterbilt standards
- Assist with inventory
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver’s License with a clear drivers’ abstract is required
- Previous experience in sales considered an asset
- Superior interpersonal skills with an enthusiastic personality; able to provide an exceptional customer service experience and work as part of a team
- Knowledge of heavy-duty parts considered an asset
- Exemplary time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs. consistently and safely
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer programs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
