Your Opportunity
Based in our Longueuil office as a Commissioning Agent, you will be responsible for executing the commissioning process, managing commissioning documentation, and performing on-site functional testing.
Your responsibilities
- Conduct technical investigations and review design documents for operations and maintenance (plans and specifications issued by various project stakeholders);
- Perform design reviews from an operational perspective;
- Define commissioning requirements (commissioning specifications);
- Lead commissioning meetings with contractors;
- Assist with system start-ups;
- Inspect mechanical and electrical installations and systems;
- Validate installation and operating sequences with the controls contractor;
- Supervise and validate balancing operations;
- Prepare commissioning reports and document the process;
- Perform remote monitoring using a control platform;
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, and respond to their needs throughout the project;
- Prepare and carry out functional testing with contractors.

Your Background
- College diploma (DEC) in building mechanics or equivalent experience;
- More than 5 years of experience in commissioning (controls, balancing, commissioning agent);
- Knowledge of functional testing and sequence validation (heating, ventilation, air conditioning);
- Knowledge of building design (mechanical and electrical);
- Knowledge of building automation systems;
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems;
- Expertise in pre-operational verifications (POV) and start-up of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems;
- Skills in project management and technical writing;
