Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Intake Coordinator to join our dynamic therapy team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient intake process. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help facilitate seamless communication between clients, providers, and administrative staff. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality client care while working in a fast-paced, supportive environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, compassionate, and highly organized, ready to make a positive impact from day one.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist clients with their initial intake procedures in a friendly, professional manner
Collect and verify accurate personal, insurance, and medical information using electronic case management system
Review documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy of client records
Communicate clearly with clients regarding required documentation, next steps, and appointment details
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information in compliance with privacy regulations
Support office operations by managing incoming calls, updating records, and assisting with administrative tasks as needed

Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact empathetically with clients and team members
Prior experience working in a healthcare environment is highly preferred
Proficiency with electronic case management systems for data entry and retrieval
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy office setting
Previous office experience that demonstrates professionalism and attention to detail
