Location: Wetaskiwin, Alberta

Schedule: 4 Days On, 4 Days Off Rotation

Shift Times: 07:00-19:00 / 19:00-07:00

Alternating between days and nights every two weeks

The Role
Healthcare Security Guards play an important role in creating a safe and supportive environment for patients, visitors, healthcare professionals, and the community.
This is a dynamic position where no two shifts are the same. You will use your communication skills, professionalism, and ability to remain calm under pressure to respond to a variety of situations while providing exceptional service and support.
Key Responsibilities
While duties may vary depending on the facility, responsibilities may include:

Providing access control throughout the facility and monitoring restricted areas

Conducting regular patrols of the healthcare facility and surrounding property

Responding to alarms, emergencies, and requests for assistance
-
Supporting healthcare staff during challenging situations
-
Using communication and de-escalation skills to resolve conflicts safely
-
Assisting patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and empathy
-
Monitoring CCTV and security systems
-
Identifying and reporting safety hazards, security concerns, and unusual activity

Completing detailed incident reports and documentation
