Full job description

Timbro Contracting is seeking a full time, ambitious, and skilled Heavy Civil Construction Foreman with minimum 3-4 years of experience. The role of our Pipelayer Foreman is to lead on site crew labourers responsible for installation of main utilities ( sanitary, storm, water) , following design drawings and specifications. We are expecting you to have solid experience in construction, great interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, work well under pressure and ability to make decisions in complex situations. The individual for this position needs to be capable of working out of town.

Responsibilities:

Analyze project drawings, contract documents, and tender documents to develop construction plans for your crew.
Lead construction site ensuring workers follow to construction plans efficiently and safely.
Prepare and enforce employee schedules and construction timelines.
Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, project managers, engineers, and clients in a professional manner.
Develop daily reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Minimum 3-4 years of experience safely leading and managing crews and equipment in a civil construction environment.
Experience in underground utilities is a must.
Valid First Aid Level 2 certification (required).
Experience in roadwork and earthwork is an asset.
Ability to operate all types of heavy equipment in a safe and productive manner.
Salary depends on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.95-$45.31 per hour
