Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pizza Maker to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves preparing high-quality pizzas, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent food service. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, especially within the food industry, but a strong work ethic and a desire to learn are equally valued.

Duties

Prepare and assemble pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
Handle food preparation tasks such as dough stretching, topping application, and ingredient portioning
Cook pizzas using ovens, ensuring proper temperature and cooking times for optimal quality
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitation of surfaces and equipment
Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
Assist in serving customers when needed, providing friendly and efficient service
Manage inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
Adhere to all restaurant policies regarding food handling, safety, and hygiene standards

Skills

Experience in food preparation, cooking, or food handling within a restaurant or food service environment
Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong understanding of meal preparation and food industry standards
Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Kitchen experience that demonstrates proficiency in meal assembly and cooking techniques
Ability to multitask effectively during busy periods while adhering to safety protocols
Good communication skills and teamwork-oriented attitude
