Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly sanitized and ready for use. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting the hospitality and food service industry. Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or kitchen settings is a plus but not required. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team committed to exceptional service and quality.

Responsibilities

Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and cleaning workstations
Follow food handling and safety procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met
Support the kitchen staff by providing clean dishes promptly during busy service times
Dispose of waste and recyclables according to established procedures
Adhere to health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment

Experience

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
Familiarity with cleaning procedures and kitchen safety standards is advantageous
Experience with food handling, basic food preparation, or cooking can be beneficial but is not required
Candidates with hotel or serving experience will find transferable skills applicable to this role
A strong sense of teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail are essential qualities for success in this position
