Fantastic opportunity for a Hospitalist to join the team at Cariboo Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Williams Lake. As a Hospitalist at Cariboo Memorial Hospital, you will work in the acute inpatient medicine setting and function in a MRP (most responsible physician) role for complex medical and co-management of surgical patients, as well as palliative care. Throughout the hospital, you will receive excellent support from the other CMH specialists and family physicians. Working 8 hours a day you will see an average of 12-16 inpatients per shift.

The CMH Hospitalist program supports the complex and diverse medical needs of our patients in an environment that fosters collaboration among specialists.

We are excited to add new graduates or experienced Hospitalists to our team in Williams Lake.

Qualifications:

Eligible for Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
Certificant of College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP)
Doctorate in Medicine
Eligible for licensure with CPSBC
Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory

Call Schedule:

Hours of work: Full Time or Part Time
On call requirements: Participation in after-hours call is mandatory.

Compensation:

Estimated Gross Income

Clinical Service Contract: For a full time hospitalist, anticipate an annual base income of $336,168.00 or $200.10/ hour. Up to an additional 40% is also available with group contract incentives. MOCAP level 2 and After Hours Premiums also provided.
