Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas and other menu items, ensuring high-quality food service, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills within the food industry while providing excellent service to our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and sauces according to established recipes and standards
Cook pizzas to perfection using appropriate kitchen equipment
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling menu items
Ensure food safety and proper handling of ingredients at all times
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing work surfaces
Serve customers efficiently and courteously at the counter or during takeout orders
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment is preferred but not required
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Strong understanding of serving and food handling protocols
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
Passion for the food industry and a desire to learn culinary skills
