Overview
Brig & Barq Brewing and Moonrise Ridge Cider is looking for an Assistant to join our production team. This role is essential in supporting the brewing process, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have an interest in the food and beverage industry, with a focus on manufacturing and food safety practices. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in brewing and cider making.

Responsibilities

Assist with the packaging of beer and other products, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards
Operate equipment such as forklifts to move raw materials, finished products, and supplies safely within the facility
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all brewing areas, tools, and equipment following food safety protocols
Help with mechanical tasks related to equipment maintenance or troubleshooting minor issues
Follow safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and ingredients used during production, help with deliveries.

Skills

Experience or familiarity with packaging processes in a manufacturing or food industry setting is preferred
Mechanical knowledge or aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues is a plus
Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary)
Strong understanding of sanitation standards and food safety regulations
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks
Knowledge of food processing techniques and manufacturing best practices
Attention to detail to ensure product quality and compliance with safety standards
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

This role is integral to our production operations, offering valuable experience in brewing, manufacturing, and food safety. We seek motivated individuals eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment while developing their skills within the beverage industry.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
