ABOUT WRH

Windsor Regional Hospital is the 15th largest hospital in the Province of Ontario and the 7th largest community teaching hospital, serving a population of about 400,000 people in Windsor and Essex County along with providing tertiary and quaternary care to thousands more – and we want you to join our team!

There are endless opportunities at WRH - As the regional provider of advanced care, the hospital provides the following services for the entire Erie St. Clair sub region of Ontario Health West: Complex Trauma, Renal Dialysis, Cardiac Care, Stroke and Neurosurgery, Intensive Care, Acute Mental Health, Family Birthing Centre, Neonatal Intensive Care, Paediatric Services, and Regional Cancer Services.

JOB SUMMARY:

Provide a full range of audiological assessment services to inpatients and outpatients in a general hospital setting.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

Masters degree in Audiology ~ required
Licensed by the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) ~ required
Two years of relevant clinical experience ~ preferred
Experience with both adults and children ~ preferred
Ability to perform sedated ABR’s ~ preferred
Demonstrates adherence to established standards of professional practice and personal conduct.
Demonstrates current knowledge of clinical practice and procedures in a health care environment.
General good health and a level of fitness appropriate to the demands of the position.
French language skills an asset
