What You’ll Do
- Finishing work and fine details, rough and trim
- Installation, doors, trim, moldings, baseboards and hardware
- Repairs to wooden structures of all sorts
- Drywall repairs, mudding, sanding, taping and finishing
- Brush and roller painting (could include walls, ceilings, trim)
- Ceiling installation, knockdown and texturing
- Insulation and vapour barrier installation
- Cabinetry (removal, repair, reinstallation)
- Flooring installation and repairs
- Framing
What You Bring
- 5+ years of general carpentry experience with the ability to perform a wide range of reconstruction and finishing tasks, including drywall, painting, finishing carpentry, door installation, casings, trims.
- Strong finish carpentry skills with a keen eye for detail and quality workmanship
- Experience with flooring installation (wood, tile, laminate, and similar materials) is a strong asset
- Rough carpentry experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to read blueprints, take accurate measurements, and complete work to specification
- Must have their own hand tools and be proficient with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Attention to detail, passion for quality and pride in the work you do
- Strong people and communication skills
- A safety mindset
- Tech-savvy (comfortable using apps and software on iPhone and iPad)
- Willing and able to work extended hours when required to meet project demands
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to pass a criminal record check
- Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken

Disasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after hours on-call work is a requirement. Meaning you’ll work regular weekday hours and participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule.

- finish carpentry (trim, casings, baseboards, door install): 5 years (preferred)
- drywall installation, repair, and texture matching: 5 years (preferred)
- professional painting: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Canadian Driver's License (required)
