Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to produce high-quality metal components. This role requires mechanical aptitude, precision, and familiarity with various manufacturing tools and techniques to ensure efficient production and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

Operate press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets according to detailed blueprints and specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine machine settings and process requirements.
Set up CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe, and other related equipment as needed for production runs.
Program CNC machines for precise cuts and bends, ensuring accuracy and consistency across parts.
Utilize hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices for quality inspection and verification of finished products.
Perform routine maintenance on press brake machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Collaborate with team members in assembly processes when necessary to meet production deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
Familiarity with CNC programming, CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe, welding, and machining processes.
Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings.
Mechanical knowledge of hand tools, calipers, and other measurement instruments for quality inspection.
Basic math skills necessary for machine setup and part measurement.
Experience with crane operation and forklift handling is a plus but not required.
Strong understanding of manufacturing safety standards and procedures.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality components efficiently.
