Full job description

RPR Environmental has been providing great employment opportunities for over 35 years. Our well-trained employees have been satisfying our customers' hazardous waste needs with expertise in a team-based environment.

About the role:

The driver will work alone in most cases and will drive a well-maintained truck to our customers' sites (primarily industrial or any organization that generates wastes that must be disposed of in a legal manner).
Prepare the waste inventory for safe transportation.
Properly complete paperwork (Bill of Lading, Ontario Waste Manifest), labelling and quality control to identify goods loaded for transport.
Areas serviced in Canada can go as far west as Alberta and as far east as Nova Scotia. Driving in the U.S required. FAST Card required***
Early starts required varying between 5am-7am.
Average between 45-55 hours per week.

Qualifications/Requirements:

At least 2 years of A-Z driving experience.
Valid FAST card.
Must be able to drive a manual transmission - 13 & 18 speed.
Good verbal and written skills.
Experience with hauling dangerous goods/hazardous loads, and operating equipment such as Vac-Tanker, Dump Trailer and Shell Tanker very beneficial.
Reasonable physical exertion is required, such as climbing in and out of trucks and pushing loaded pallet trucks short distances.
