Job Title: Logistics Dispatcher
Schedule: Full-time, continental shifts (day and night rotations). Work 7 shifts over a 14-day period, averaging 80 hours biweekly.

Job Summary:
We’re looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Logistics Dispatcher to coordinate freight movement, optimize routes, and ensure timely delivery. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at problem-solving, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Dispatch trucks to pick up and deliver loads on schedule.
Coordinate driver schedules and optimize routes for efficiency.
Monitor freight movement and address any delays or issues.
Maintain communication with drivers, providing updates on weather, traffic, and other factors.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
Keep accurate records of dispatch activities, including driver logs, equipment usage, and fuel consumption.
Collaborate with customers to meet their transportation needs and provide exceptional service.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues like equipment breakdowns or delivery delays.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in dispatching or transportation logistics.
Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety requirements.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management systems.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and varying shifts.
