Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Plumber Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in plumbing systems, construction, and maintenance. As a Plumber Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of experienced plumbers to develop essential skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in plumbing and related trades. This paid apprenticeship provides valuable training opportunities in a dynamic environment dedicated to quality workmanship and safety.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively under supervision
Support the assembly of piping systems, fixtures, and other plumbing components
Perform basic measurements and calculations using fundamental math skills for accurate installation
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment for yourself and team members
Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills such as blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and system troubleshooting

Skills

Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in plumbing systems and construction trades
Familiarity with carpentry, HVAC, or maintenance work is a plus but not required
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is advantageous
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installation tasks
Good problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
Willingness to learn new skills through hands-on training and mentorship
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in various construction environments

This position is ideal for individuals eager to start a career in plumbing or construction trades while gaining practical experience through paid training opportunities.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
