Full job description

Cross Country is a leading Canadian manufacturer in the aggregate and transportation industry. We are currently seeking a full-time General Outfitter to join our Assembly team.

As a General Outfitter, you play an important role in the completion of Cross Country Mfg. trailers. Working as part of a team, you will install a variety of components that ensure each trailer operates safely and efficiently. This role offers hands-on work, opportunities to learn multiple skillsets, and the satisfaction of seeing a trailer come together from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and assemble trailer components including:
Electrical and basic wiring components
Plumbing and hydraulic-related components
Tarp systems
Tires and wheels
Decals and finishing details
Read and follow schematics, drawings, and assembly instructions
Use basic hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
Ensure quality and attention to detail at each stage of assembly
Work independently while also contributing to a team environment

Skills, Experience & Requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail
Comfortable operation basic hand tools
Knowledge of fractions and decimals; able to accurately read a measuring tape
Ability to follow schematics and assembly instructions
