Full job description

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Real Estate Assistant to join our legal team in Winnipeg. This role is vital in supporting our real estate transactions and ensuring smooth administrative operations, reflecting our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities

Open, organize, and manage real estate files with PC Law Accounting Software
Review and process agreements of purchase and sale, lender instructions, title searches, tax certificates, and due diligence materials.
Prepare closing agendas, track conditions, monitor key dates, and coordinate with all parties (lenders, brokers, agents, clients, opposing counsel).
Draft all docs including but not limited to, statutory declarations, undertakings, acknowledgments, Trust letters, reporting letters, and closing packages
Prepare electronic registration packages and work confidently in Manitoba’s e-registration systems.
Submit registrations through the appropriate Land Titles Office systems.
Prepare and submit payouts, ensure receipt of discharges, and follow through on post-closing undertakings.

Qualifications

Accounting and book keeping knowledge and Math Skill Required.
Higher experience higher the pay.
Strong understanding of Manitoba Land Titles Office procedures, e-registration systems, and conveyancing practices.
PC Law Knowledge or any other accounting software knowledge an assets.
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work under tight timelines and manage multiple active files.
Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and problem-solving capabilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
