Job Title: Software Developer, Incubation

Job Summary:
Price Industries is looking for a Software Developer, Incubation to help evaluate and apply emerging technologies to real business challenges across our Sales Technology platforms. This is a hands-on prototyping and R&D role focused on technical discovery, proof-of-concept development, applied AI, automation, integrations, and cloud-based solutions.
You will work with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to explore opportunities, test feasibility, demonstrate working prototypes, and help determine which ideas should move forward into production-ready software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions to evaluate new ideas, emerging technologies, automation opportunities, and applied AI use cases.
- Design and develop working software solutions using technologies such as Angular, C#/.NET, APIs, cloud services, and modern integration patterns.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, gather requirements, and translate business challenges into practical technical solutions.
- Explore and evaluate emerging tools, frameworks, cloud services, and AI-enabled technologies to determine their potential business value, feasibility, risks, and limitations.
- Integrate internal systems and third-party services to support connected workflows across Sales Technology platforms.
- Apply AI technologies where appropriate, such as AI-assisted workflows, intelligent automation, data extraction, natural language interfaces, and productivity-enhancing tools.
- Document prototypes, technical findings, assumptions, solution approaches, and recommendations to support knowledge sharing and future implementation.
- Assist in transitioning successful prototypes into production-ready solutions in collaboration with development and QA teams.
- Participate in code reviews to promote best practices for code structure, testing, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, including frontend frameworks, cloud services, automation platforms, applied AI, and modern software development practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and collaborative workflows (pull requests, branching strategies, etc.).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with .NET / C# backend development
- Experience with TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience in cloud technologies (Azure or AWS).
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
