Full job description

Owns the complete post-sale customer journey by managing every stage of the order lifecycle from purchase to final delivery. This role serves as the primary connection between customers, manufacturers, and warehouse operations, ensuring orders are processed accurately, communicated proactively, and completed seamlessly. Through exceptional customer service, persistent vendor follow-up, and strong cross-functional coordination, this position plays a critical role in protecting the customer experience and upholding Luxe Furniture Company's reputation for service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Order Management

Receive and enter customer orders and purchase orders (POs)
Place orders with manufacturers and track progress
Maintain visibility on all active orders from purchase to completion
Monitor timelines and proactively follow up on delays or issues

Customer Communication

Primary point of contact after sale is completed
Provide updates on order status, arrivals, and next steps
Schedule deliveries and pickups
Conduct follow-up after delivery/pickup to ensure completion and satisfaction

Vendor / Manufacturer Management

Primary liaison with manufacturers for shipping, receiving, and order status
Follow up consistently to ensure commitments are met
Escalate and resolve issues related to delays, accuracy, or fulfillment

Issue Resolution & Warranty

Handle customer issues post-sale
Submit and manage warranty claims with manufacturers
Work toward resolution of product, shipping, or fulfillment concerns

Warehouse Coordination

Work closely with Warehouse Manager on incoming inventory and receiving
Schedule all deliveries and pickups

Role Requirements

3–4+ years experience in customer service, logistics, retail operations, or order management
Experience in furniture, home goods, or luxury retail considered an asset
Strong ability to manage full order lifecycle independently
Excellent communication skills across customers, vendors, and internal teams
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Comfortable managing multiple active orders in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Experience:

Vendor management: 3 years (required)
Customer relationship management: 3 years (required)
Retail sales: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

Driving License (preferred)
