Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization
also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview
Under the general direction of the Lab Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for assessing how disease has affected the Cardio-
Pulmonary System by conducting various Cardio-Pulmonary testing.

Experience
2 years’ experience as a Pulmonary Technician or as a Registered Respiratory Therapist required.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
Successful completion of a recognized Pulmonary Technologist training program, can include academic credential in
Respiratory Therapy from an accredited Canadian program or a MARRT approve equivalent, if internationally educated.

Certification/Licensure/Registration
Registered and in good standing with the Canadian Association of Cardio-Pulmonary Technologists (CACPT) or will
challenge & pass the CACPT examination within 2 years of hiring.

Qualifications and Skills

Preference will be given to those applicants competent in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenous customs,
traditions and values.

Physical Requirements
Good physical and mental health and manual dexterity.
