Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, prepare high-quality beverages, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced food industry setting, engaging with customers and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons. Prior barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure you succeed in your role.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to company standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, including cashiering duties
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space in compliance with food safety standards
Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about products
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
Follow food handling and safety procedures at all times
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts
Uphold excellent customer service standards by creating a welcoming atmosphere

Requirements

Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons
Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
Ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours to ensure timely service
Food safety certification or knowledge of food handling procedures is a plus
Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
