What You'll Do
As a Staff Accountant, you will:
- Prepare working papers, financial statements, and supporting documentation
- Assist with compilation, review, and assurance engagements
- Prepare corporate, personal, and trust tax returns
- Support clients with bookkeeping, accounting, and financial reporting matters
- Analyze financial information and identify opportunities for improvement
- Communicate directly with clients and government agencies as needed
- Participate in special projects and advisory engagements
- Continuously develop your technical and professional skills
Who We're Looking For
You may be a great fit if you:
- Have recently completed a BBA, Bachelor of Commerce, or equivalent degree with a concentration in accounting
- Are pursuing, eligible to pursue, or currently enrolled in the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP)
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn
- Are organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enjoy working collaboratively while also taking ownership of your responsibilities
- Are comfortable stepping outside your comfort zone and embracing new challenges
