Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient food service management. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff to create a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily operations, including overseeing staff performance and ensuring adherence to company policies.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
Support kitchen operations by coordinating food preparation and handling processes to maintain quality standards.
Train and mentor new employees in areas such as food handling, cooking techniques, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Conduct interviews for potential new hires, evaluating candidates based on their skills and fit within the team.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with management to implement promotional activities and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and staff alike.
Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation and handling practices.
Experience with POS systems is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing tasks and responsibilities.
