Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating products, and driving sales through effective communication and upselling techniques. This role offers an opportunity to develop your sales skills within a fast-paced environment, engaging with diverse customers and representing our brand professionally. Bilingual abilities and technical sales experience are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and product demonstrations.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, especially for technology-related items
Provide knowledgeable guidance on merchandise, including merchandising and POS transactions
Handle cash, process payments accurately, and manage cash handling responsibilities
Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
Maintain organized displays and ensure the retail space is clean and inviting
Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods
Communicate clearly with customers using excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and basic merchandising tasks
Stay informed about new products, promotions, and store policies to provide accurate information

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or technical sales preferred
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish) are a plus
Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math for transactions
Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail in a retail setting
Ability to perform product demos effectively, especially for technology or specialized merchandise
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse customers
Experience in upselling, merchandising, and maintaining store presentation standards is desirable
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed

Pay: $15.65-$26.04 per hour
