Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hair styling techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are eager to build lasting relationships with clients while showcasing their creativity.

Duties

Provide high-quality haircuts, styling, and grooming services to clients based on their preferences and current trends.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and offer personalized recommendations for hair care and styling products.
Upsell retail products and services, enhancing the overall client experience while contributing to salon revenue.
Assist with front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling transactions.
Foster a welcoming atmosphere by providing excellent customer service and building rapport with clients.
Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products through ongoing education and training.

Requirements

Proven experience in hair styling or barbering, with a valid cosmetology or barbering license.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.
Experience in upselling products or services is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills that facilitate positive interactions with clients and team members.
