Who We Are
London Chiropractic & Massage Clinic is a well-established multidisciplinary healthcare organization serving London, Ontario through clinics on Hamilton Road, Colborne Street and in Wortley Village.
Our team includes chiropractors, Registered Massage Therapists, physiotherapists, an osteopathic manual practitioner and Registered Acupuncturist. We provide professional, patient-centred care in a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.
We are currently seeking a caring and motivated Registered Massage Therapist to join our busy Hamilton Road clinic.
A long-standing RMT is relocating, creating an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to transition into an established patient base with immediate demand. This is a particularly strong opportunity for an RMT who enjoys therapeutic and deep-tissue massage and wants to build a stable, long-term practice.
New graduates, candidates completing their CMTO registration and experienced RMTs are encouraged to apply.
What’s the Role?
The successful RMT will provide safe, individualized and professional massage therapy to an established and growing patient population.
Many of the patients available for transition prefer a therapeutic or deep-tissue treatment style. Patients commonly seek care for muscle tension, sports and overuse injuries, headaches, jaw-related tension, back and neck discomfort, motor vehicle accident rehabilitation and workplace injuries.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting appropriate patient assessments
- Developing individualized treatment plans
- Providing therapeutic, deep-tissue, Swedish and relaxation massage
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records in Jane
- Communicating clearly regarding treatment goals and home-care recommendations
- Supporting continuity of care for existing patients
- Collaborating professionally with other clinic practitioners when appropriate
- Maintaining a clean, organized and welcoming treatment space
- Following CMTO standards, regulations and professional expectations
- Participating in reasonable shared room-reset and laundry procedures
- Building strong therapeutic relationships and a stable long-term caseload
Experience with cupping, myofascial techniques, sports massage, TMJ-related concerns, pregnancy massage or other complementary approaches is welcome but not required.
Schedule Opportunity
We are particularly interested in an RMT who can provide availability from Monday through Saturday, including afternoon, evening and Saturday hours.
Potential availability includes:
- Monday through Thursday afternoons and evenings
- Fridays
- Saturdays from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The exact schedule can be discussed based on candidate availability and the needs of the existing patient base.
There is an opportunity to begin part-time and increase hours as the schedule develops.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, or expect to become registered shortly
- Hold professional liability insurance or be able to obtain it before beginning practice
- Be eligible to issue insurance receipts as a Registered Massage Therapist
- Be comfortable practising as an independent contractor
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Demonstrate strong communication and patient-service skills
- Be dependable, professional and respectful
- Be committed to ethical, patient-centred care
New graduates who communicate well, provide thoughtful care and are motivated to build a long-term practice will receive serious consideration.
What’s in It for You?
Established Patient Demand
You will have the opportunity to receive appropriate patient transitions from a departing RMT rather than beginning with an empty schedule.
The clinic also generates internal referrals from chiropractic, physiotherapy, osteopathy and acupuncture.
