Office & Operations Coordinator

Brandoflex Limited, Brantford, ON. Full time, permanent, on site.

$58,000 to $68,000 per year, depending on experience

Job Summary

We are seeking an organised and practical Office & Operations Coordinator to run the business side of our shop. Brandoflex is a long-established Brantford manufacturer of polyurethane cast parts, supplying industrial customers across Canada and the US, and is now under new ownership and in a revamp phase. This is a true generalist role. In a small manufacturer there is no separate accounting department, order desk, purchasing team or HR office; you are a little of each, every day. From day one you will keep the books, run the office and manage every order from purchase order to shipped and paid. If you like variety and take satisfaction in keeping many small things running properly, you will enjoy it.

Duties

Maintain the books in our ERP system, including invoicing, payables, bank reconciliations, payroll and follow up on receivables
Prepare quotations for standard products and enter customer orders
Track work through the plant and prepare packing lists, customs paperwork and shipments with UPS, FedEx and Purolator
Respond to customer and supplier calls and emails and keep account records current
Order and track raw materials and consumables
Maintain basic HR records, attendance and payroll administration
Handle office supplies, mail, cheque deposits, filing and general housekeeping

Skills

Three or more years of bookkeeping or office administration experience, ideally in a small manufacturer or trade business
Confident with accounting or ERP software, Excel and Outlook
Working knowledge of payroll
Accurate and organised, able to switch between tasks without dropping any
Clear and courteous communicator on the phone and in writing
Practical, hands on and comfortable in a plant environment
