Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Manager to oversee the front desk operations at our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest services, managing front desk staff, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Previous hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with strong customer service backgrounds. The Front Desk Manager plays a crucial role in creating a positive first impression and maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Responsibilities

Greet guests promptly and professionally, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere
Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using multi-line phone systems and reservation software
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with tact and professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction
Supervise front desk staff, providing training on phone etiquette, customer service, and hotel policies
Maintain accurate records of guest reservations, billing, and other administrative tasks
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly
Oversee the daily operations of the front desk to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to hotel standards
Assist in managing guest services such as concierge requests, special accommodations, and local information
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and hotel policies at all times

Experience

Prior experience in hotel front desk management or a similar customer service role is preferred
Strong knowledge of multi-line phone systems and reservation management software
Excellent communication skills with proficiency in phone etiquette and guest interaction
Experience in hospitality or related fields will be advantageous but not required for candidates with strong customer service skills
Demonstrated ability to lead a team, handle stressful situations gracefully, and maintain professionalism at all times

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
