Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time/Contract Bookkeeper/Office Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will administer financial records, ensure accurate bookkeeping practices, and support our accounting processes, handling day-to-day bookkeeping tasks with precision and efficiency. This position offers flexibility, making it ideal for professionals looking to contribute their skills in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Manage and record all financial transactions using accounting software QuickBooks Online
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Maintain organized records of projects, invoices, receipts, and financial documents.
Support payroll processing by verifying hours, deductions, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Various admin/office related duties as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles with familiarity in accounting software QuickBooks Online
Strong understanding of accounting principles including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
Knowledge of payroll processing and related compliance requirements.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Ability to perform account analysis and assist with budgeting processes effectively.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external vendors.
Prior experience in small business is a plus.
