Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Roofer/Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with roofing projects and general labor tasks on various job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn new skills. Prior roofing experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals who are eager to contribute to our team’s success. This position offers an opportunity to develop hands-on skills in roofing .

Duties

Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools and power tools
Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, plywood, and other roofing supplies
Use caulking and sealing techniques to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing tools and debris removal

Skills

Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, saws, and drills
Roofing experience or background is preferred
Knowledge of caulking techniques for weatherproofing applications
Physical strength for heavy lifting (80 lbs and up) and manual labor tasks.
Experience with handyman work or related trades is a plus
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different project requirements.
Ability to learn quickly in fast paced environment.

This position is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in roofing or construction while contributing effectively within a team environment. Must have own transportation.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
