Position Summary
As the FOH Manager at MR MIKES, you’ll be responsible for delivering a legendary guest experience by leading and supporting the front-of-house team. You’ll ensure consistent service execution, maintain hospitality standards, and foster a culture of fun, teamwork, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop FOH team members (servers, hosts, bartenders, etc.)
- Lead by example through hands-on floor presence and proactive service support
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and ensure team readiness for peak periods
- Provide regular feedback and support performance management when needed
Guest Experience
- Champion exceptional service standards and ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued
- Handle guest feedback and concerns with professionalism and urgency
- Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and continuously improve the experience
Operational Excellence
- Support scheduling to align with labor targets while meeting guest traffic demands
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety in all FOH areas
- Oversee opening and closing duties, cash-outs, and end-of-day procedures
- Enforce liquor service compliance and uphold health & safety regulations
Sales & Community Engagement
- Help drive sales by supporting promotional activities and brand events
- Encourage upselling and menu knowledge among staff
- Build relationships with regulars and local businesses to grow brand loyalty
Qualifications:
- High School Graduation is required; Post-Secondary Education is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of Front of House, Back of house experience (or both), with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role in a high-volume, casual dining restaurant.
- Essential certifications in Provincial Food Safety, Responsible Alcohol Service, and First Aid/WCB.
- May require a Criminal Record Check
Remuneration:
- Details regarding compensation, benefits, and vacation entitlements will be outlined in a separate employment contract.
As the Assistant General Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring MR. MIKES® maintains its high standards, creates memorable dining experiences, and fosters a positive work environment for both staff and customers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
